We have been thinking a lot about the nostalgic idea of recording physical mixtapes lately, just like we did in the 90s. Due to time constraints and legal complexities, the decision was made to curate some playlists under the banner of »𝕯𝖚𝖓𝖌𝖊𝖔𝖓 𝕾𝖞𝖓𝖙𝖍 𝕼𝖚𝖊𝖘𝖙𝖘 « on Spotify, offering a less nostalgic but legally easier and less time-consuming alternative.

Dungeon Synth has a rich history that deserves to be studied and appreciated. We want to expand the view of Dungeon Synth’s history beyond the 1990s with its handful of rightly revered but repeatedly referenced protagonists. Two new volumes of our »Dungeon Synth Quests« series focus on early synthesizer musicians and and forerunners of today's Dungeon Synth. We invite you to explore the connections between New Age/Kosmische Musik and early Dungeon Synth, revealing not only musical but also spiritual connections.
